BEAVERTON, OR -- Hollywood actors Keanu Reeves and Vincent D'Onofrio spent some time being fitted for bicycles by the pros at the Beaverton Bike Gallery recently in preparation for some racing scenes in the upcoming movie Thumbsucker. The race scenes are to be shot in Beaverton Sept. 10 and 11. Aaron Harrison, Bike Gallery's fit specialist, outfitted both of the actors with high-end road bikes. Reeves, best known for his work in The Matrix, Speed and Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, was set up on a 57-centimeter LeMond Arrive. Reeves' character will be racing in the movie. D'Onofrio, star of the NBC series Law and Order: Criminal Intent, plays a father in Thumbsucker. Standing 6-foot 4-inches tall, D'Onofrio was outfitted with a Trek 5200. Harrison spent about an hour and a hall with each actor, making adjustments for bio-mechanics and comfort.
