Thank you to everyone who has written with offers to help out. Donations of money are not necessary.
The time involved to keep it up to date is one of the concerns. So that everyone may browse and read through articles, the site will remain online but updates may be more infrequent. To that end, offers to help in the way of sending in any new articles, newsbits, etc are as always, most appreciated.
Also, it may not be possible to post screen caps and other media as quickly as in the past but will be added as time allows. It's not the best but at the very least, the site will be left up for browsing.

Sorry you are having these challenges and if there is anything I can do, please dont hesitate to let me know....as I am sure many of your frequent visitors will offer the same.

Thanks for the update as well as for all the time and energy you've devoted to this wonderful resource. Every time the site goes down--even just for an update--panic ensues throughout Vincent fandom! Even if the pace of the updates must slow down, the reel is still the best site there is... thanks again!!

You are an Icon in the VDO land we all live in, and really do appreciate all the time and effort you have put into making this the very best site just for all of us....Thanks.......And my offer still stands.

I also just wanted to mention that although Karen is no longer involved, we created the site together. Alot of her time and energy is in the pages throughout the site.

This was my first entry to Vincent world and I will always be greatful!
I'm Reely, Reely happy the site is back. As meg stated, the Reel was also my first entry into VDO land, and the first place I go every a.m. before I leave for work. Whatever you do is greatly appreciated, thank you for making our Reel lives happy ('cause sometimes our real lives are difficult).
Now for my two cents......
My dearest soul sister -
Thank you and Karen for the hours of dedication you have put into this. But let's call this what it is - an enjoyable diversion. It is not for you to be a source of information or to feed our fixes.
Whenever you feel it is time to cut out, be it in a day, a week, or a year, do so with our blessings. As mauigirl put it, get back to making your REAL life happy. We will survive.
