60 Seconds: Vincent D'Onofrio
From Metro.co.uk

Actor Vincent D'Onofrio got his big break when he gained 32kg for his role in Full Metal Jacket. Now, he has become a cult favourite thanks to his role as kooky detective Robert Goren in TV show Law & Order: Criminal Intent. He also stars in hit indie film Thumbsucker, as the father of a 17-year-old boy who still sucks his thumb. Thumbsucker is out now on DVD.
What attracted you to the film?
It was a story about a family but it was also a story about each individual in that family, who they are and their evolution in the film. It approached each character thoroughly. It's rare when you find stuff like that. These days, when you have a film that's from the perspective of a young person, everyone around is very cartoony and not very multi-levelled.
The main character is a teenager who sucks his thumb. Have you got any bad habits?
Yeah, but I wouldn't discuss them with you.
Do you pick your nose?
No.

I was tipped off to this but was sadly not in London today, otherwise that would have made the travel a lot easier! The question is of course: what bad habits exactly does Vincent have? Coyness- interesting!
i wonder if the part in spiderman he was talking about happened to be "mysterio"..he would be great in that part...being that mysterio was the lord of illusions..(vincent)he is a master of intelligence..or in superman if they come out with a sequel..he could play Brainiac..because the character is the walking history of what is left of Krypton but develops and thirst for power and domination...even better he could play the Zod...from superman

I found the comment about Goren's impending illness very interesting - sounds like an exit strategy to me! I bet Balcer and Wolf hate it when he says stuff like that! LOL
Let's hope Bobby's mental state manages to hang on for a few more years!
Loved this article - thanks for posting it.
Vincent, you be a comicbook villain or anything else for that matter. Just make sure we get to see plenty more of you on the big screen.
Suddenly I'm having visions of a mother/son suite at Carmel Ridge. And I think it's a cheap way out.
Let's hope they do better by a guy who's survived so much ...
Someone please explain to Vincent that Bobby Goren's army of female followers will be distraught if something 'untoward' happens to him. I'm still in terror that Nicole will slither out from under a rock and shoot him. Anyway, I'm sure whatever 'bad habits' he thinks he has, they're probably not THAT bad ;-)
