Q. I am so happy to see Chris Noth back on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Will he be taking over this role? I hope so because I am really getting annoyed with the other person. His grinning into the guilty person's face is getting to me. -- I.L., e-mail
A. Noth is terrific but so is Vincent D'Onofrio, the other person. Neither actor wants to do the series full-time, so they split the episodes. With NBC taking over football on Sundays in the fall, you'll have to get used to L&O: C.I. on a new night.

Was this written by Chris Noth's Agent??! Clearly whoever it is has no idea that Vincent (and Kate) were LOCI's back bone, all by themselves, for the first 4 years of it's life. Their loss!
Bobby can 'share' grinning duties between me 'n' Tess ;-)
Diane and Tess you're right! Vincent (and Kate) made LOCI. Chris Noth is boring to watch on LOCI. Bobby can 'grin' at me anytime too!
Diane, its just one of those silly Q.A write ins, i see them all the time. If admin here put them all up, there would be a war lol.Some people dont know talent when they see it. All due respect to Mr Noth and Ms Sciorra, its Goren/Eames show. But it isnt their fault they are splitting the show, so realy im glad because we still get out favorite duo.Thanks again admin for awesome pics/info here at your blog.
i agree vincent and erbe are the reason people watch loci in the first place noth is very boring he doesn't evecome close to vincent's talent and never will if they get rid of noth i believe loci may make a strong comeback

I agree this person doesn't know squat about the time and energy that Vincent and Kate have put into the show and their roles-it is good now that they are getting the break they need-and yes they made Criminal Intent their own-I also think tht grin is sexy.
Noth isn't boring, I like his smart a** attitude at times but I don't think from an acting perspective having Sciorra as his partner was a good choice.
"the other person" remark i took as the person deliberately ignoring the fact of "Goren" as "The Show" lead. I thought they were being sarcastic. I mean they would know after 5 seasons who is in the show right? I might be wrong, but thats what i thought when i read it!
I am a big Chris Noth fan but I too agree that in this show, its Vincent that rules. I had never watched this show until Chris entered in and since then, as much as I like Chris, it's the Vincent episodes that I enjoy the most. I just LOVE Det Goren. I can say this, if I ever get murdered, it's Det Goren I would want to be investigating the crime. His mind just blows me away! I watched Chris in the original L&O and loved him on that show but he certainly takes a back seat on this show IMO. One thing is, that if Vincent doesn't want to do the show full time,I would rather he do half the epsiodes then having him leave the series altogether. Alittle Vince is better than no Vince.
