Inside Track -

Vincent D'Onofrio, who is currently on hiatus from "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," happily reports of his show, "We're coming back next season, and there will be a new captain. We'll try to make it as interesting as we can and go a couple of more seasons or more, just depending on how much the audience likes it." Come Friday (6/2) he can be seen in "The Break-Up" as one of Vince Vaughn's brothers. Says D'Onofrio, "My character is not very good socially, and actually, in real life I'm not very good socially, either."

I love it already - OK, they haven't started shooting yet, but he can just stand there and I'm happy ;-)

I kinda like that Vincent is uncomfortable at premieres etc. He may be 6'4" but I love his inate shyness.

Have a great summer Vincent - Enjoy you travels. I wish you safe journeys, health and happiness.

Hmm, sounds like he's reconsidered staying only until the end of his contract, perhaps?

Nice to hear any comment from Vincent himself rather than hearsay-we will watch you on CI as long as you care to stay. Thanks Vincent.

I'm feeling like the captain they bring in may have problems with Goren and cause some tension there. It would add another layer to the show, and how would Goren handle it? mmmmmmmmmm

I agree with Kelly_s. Many times Cpt. Deakins "let" Bobby do investigations his own quirky way. It would be very exciting if the new cpt. wants Goren to "go by the book",as they say in the police force. There would always be tension between the 2. Maybe I'm weird, but I would like to see Goren lose his temper sometimes with this new cpt, just like Stabler and Cpt. Cragin on SVU. I'm glad to hear that LOCI will stay on for at least a few more seasons!!
