Received a photo and autograph ~
From Trixie_Duchess --
Is it ok that you post this message of mine in public?
"Hi, I thought it'd be nice to share this joy with you. Last Saturday afternoon, I received a 8 x 10 picture of Vincent D' Onofrio with Kathryn Erbe as Detectives Goren and Eames, along with Vincent's signed authograph. Vincent was very grateful on the way I wrote a letter for him regarding greatness of his work. Now, isn't that cool of him?"
Thank you, Admin!

Congrats on your picture! I love the show and am so excited for the beginning of the season. I wish LOCI filmed in TN, but that'll just have to be a dream.
Congratulations. Never doubted for one minute that Vincent is a gentle man and a gentleman.

I am so excited for you! I would have never in a million years thought he would write back. I don't know why, maybe not wanting to be bothered or something. So yeah for you and if I ever geat the nerve, yeah for me too.
Aaw... I am so thrilled for you! Mr. VDO is indeed the man with a big heart either he's a celebrity or not. He may not be shown in big blockbuster movies like Cruise's or Pitt's, his love for the people and loved ones really matters in our hearts.

I sent Vincent a letter with a CD I hoped he'd like, but I'm not sure it was sent to the correct address.I've just recently discovered that his mailing address is C/O Wolf Films at Pier 62 etc. Can anyone tell me if it would be ok to write him again and check!
wow im happy for you you mean to say he wrote you a letter to
Congrats! How long did it take to get it back? Vincent is different from other celebs.
I dont get this blogger stuff but I love vincent D'onofrio and I read about your auograpgh I got one myself with my nick name it is wonderfull. What address did you write to? leanne
Dear Trixie-
That is indeed very cool-nice gesture from Vincent.
You are very lucky. I sent him a letter once (maybe to a different address???) and I got the same letter back many months later.I was so embarrassed!
missmarjie - Unless I'm misunderstanding your question, I think that the decision to write or not write again would be your personal choice to make.
Now, someone like me, a fan who doesn't subscribe to the idea of placing someone above themselves in relation to the belief that we are all still on the same level playing field as human beings; I'm not apt to write to anyone, at all, no matter how much I admire their work. But, if you, as a fan, wants to share what you think and how you feel by writing, you should feel free to go ahead and do just that without waiting for the okay from others.
na ;-}
This is great, I should probably give it a try myself!
I had never written a fan letter until recently. I saw loci a few years back and thought what a wierdo. Due to an illness I found myself with lots of time on my hands. I revisited loci and became hooked. I now own all but 5 episodes of loci and 15 films of MR VD. I have seen 24 of his films. I must admit his work is not exactly what everyone else is doing but very intersting. I have to sometimes wonder why he picked a certain script.
I totally agree some of his early films I must say are kind off odd like the cell.I guess it is great actor who make ok films good and also he puts his carre on the line and Iadmire him for that.I read some where that some films like the breakk up and thumbsucker that know he is some what free to do other projects for none or very little paychecks with only doing 11 episodes. He seems like he is not into the big hollywood money for show stuff. He makes a liveong and supports his family and that my friend is not always the case with single parents. He does not bragg about money.I wish I could just shake his hand and say thanks for all his hard work that has made my life so meaningfull while going through cancer.
