One of our all-time favorite TV series is Homicide: Life on the Street. And one of our all-time favorite Homicide episodes is called "The Subway". In it, Vincent D'Onofrio plays a subway commuter who somehow gets wedged between the platform and a subway car. Full article.

That WAS a fabulous episode and, as always, VDO was incredible. I do believe he won an emmy for that show. Andre was great too.
check his profile in IMDb. he never won that emmy, but i am proud of his performance.

svu freak.. you are correct. he did not win. but diane is also right...he should have! But then he should have won every year for the past 5 years on loci!!
That episode is a classic and though Vincent was nominated for an Emmy as well as the writer of this episode, neither one-John Larroquette won but the writer went on to win a Peabody award for the script-Vincent and Andre were brilliant together.

This was one of the most riveting episodes ever and VDO should have won an Emmy! What an amazing performance!I coudn't look away as frightening as it was.
