Eric Bogosian's "Talk Radio" Premiere, NYC

NEW YORK - Watching the Broadway premiere of Eric Bogosian's Talk Radio is a lot like watching your radio. That alone makes it a theatrical toughie.
Despite a soaring performance by all-around actor Liev Schreiber, who plays the erratic host of Cleveland's Night Talk radio show, plus an array of impressive off-stage voices representing his vacuous callers, Talk Radio is caught in an irony: It's an hour-and-40-minute study of America's most grotesque marketplace of ideas, where the merchants are shoddy and the shelves are empty, and what the play portrays is what it becomes. The play is often funny and takes stabs at being poignant, but like the callers streaming through its single act, it's ultimately hollow. More.

Everyone looks great! Such fun to see them all together. I thought Vincent was divorced; is there a reconciliation in the works? That would be great, especially for their little son. I am headed outside to shovel yet more snow (grumble, grumble).
Glad to see VDO looking happy & rested. Love the pic with him laughing with his buddies from the other L&O shows! Carin is very pretty & looks like a sweet person. Clothing is a wee bit casual for opening night on Broadway and she's losing the button on her coat, but otherwise a handsome couple!
