I think the French 'translation' of the 'Goren lean' is 'the Revel head tilt'. A little more subtle, less physical than the full-on lean. Their Claire Savigny (who is Vincent Revel's partner and our Eames analog) reminds me in some ways of a cross between Rogers and Bishop...more Rogers I think)
Did you all recognize scenes from 'Phantom' 'The Faithful' and 'Smothered'?
I'll post which of the eps I've figured out they've adapted for PEC later.
Haven't looked at the clip and no offence to the French, but thank god I don't live there. All I need is Mr D'Onofrio. I have no interest in someone else pretending to be a (French)facsimile Bobby Goren. Vive la difference and all that, but give me the 'original' (pleeeze)
Well, I have to say that this series looks great! Perez is definitely an intriguing "Goren" and his partner (Eames) is pretty spunky. The Captain looks like he has some concerns regarding Perez' interrogation style, like Deakins used to.
Yes, I definitely noticed the episode remakes mentioned. Perez looked very frightened with that rifle in his face, more than Goren did. A different take on the scene?
It's really a pity to see that french version of LCI. It can please Américan people but nobody is better than Vincent d'Onofrio... And I hope that the original version does not desapear of french TV...
I think that the French version actually is a remake of the orginal LOCI episodes so they would start from season 1 again but use french actors. This is probably another reason to keep LOCI, b/c Wolf is selling the rights of the scripts to other countries for remakes.

OMG...
As a french i have to say...i'm laughing so hard right now...and it's a bit sad too.
First, the girl looks like Bishop... i wonder if the french writers have ever looked at the original CI...
And how dare they doing the same episodes
European (beside in the UK) can't make TV show.
Well i guess the only good thing is we won't have as much commercials than in the US
They remind me more of Mulder and Scully of the Xfiles for some reason. I just wish I understood french. But loved the scene of the French Goren show.
