Interview in National Ledger

"Vincent D'Onofrio on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" Demotion"
By Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith
9.18.07

Let TV pundits masticate over "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" being demoted from network to cable. To hear star Vincent D'Onofrio tell it, the show's move from NBC to the USA Network October 4 is full of positives. "USA is approaching it as if it's a new show, and they're giving us a lot more attention already as far as treating us like a new show," says D'Onofrio. More.

Thanks Peachybc

In the commercials for the upcoming episodes, I thought it was so funny to see perps being moved from the interrogation room and dead bodies moved with evidence, boxed up to be carried away. And the severed hand , with the USA star taking priority What a creative way to get the point across, we are moving. Everyone is looking so fresh and ready to start the new season. Thanks to the entire cast and others for making this happen another year. We as the fans really appreciate it.

This is getting exciting -- 16 more days. The article in the National ledger has a picture of vincent. It's one we've all seen before but whose counting? The commercials are so great. USA is so great. my thanks also to the entire cast and crew and usa. We are indeed lucky fans.

Exciting comments from Vincent on how the show will be delving more into Goren & Eames personal lives.

But still no "dating" for Bobby Goren? Poor guy still isn't allowed to find love, only sorrow.

Oh, how the excitement builds!!! I can't wait. And that juicy tidbit about Eames. 16 days, 10 hours, and 6 minutes.

This summer has been and endless run of classes and LSAT studying for me, so I am gladly counting the days until my fav show comes back. The season premiere is basically just 4 days after the LSAT, so it will be a nice treat to relax and get into the new season. Knowing that VDO, KE, and USA are so enthusiastic is just adding to my giddiness!

I'm really excited about the new season. One thing that seems weird to me, though, is that they will be unable to do the back story for Logan's new partner, and will they do it for him as well as Goren and Eames? Not that they interest me, but it would be a strange dichotomy between the two teams' episodes if the personal stuff is only for Bobby and Alex.

To borrow Susan's word, Vincent sounds "psyched" about the move. Cool. When he's happy, we're happy!

It's SO good to know that after the appalling way the show was treated by NBC last season, they are all fired up for S7 - as are we of course!
