"Endgame," last season’s finale of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," led Detective Robert Goren to the shocking discovery that convicted serial killer Mark Ford Brody (Roy Scheider) was his father. He found this out just before his mother, Frances Goren, (Rita Moreno) died and just days before the killer was executed.
There’s no emotional relief in sight for Goren. This season viewers will learn more about him and his difficult past.

I'm getting a stomach ache thinking about this "intense test" of Goren's mental health. Please... no episode where he is committed to Bellevue for psychological evaluation!

Just as long as the episodes keep coming and the shows succeeds - with Vincent in it - I'm glad to see them exploring the characters.
I'm still trying to forget that Vincent once said he and Rene were trying to work out what was 'wrong' with Goren. Nothing baby, he'll deal with whatever is thrown at him!
Oh and could someone tell the interviewer that Bobby's mom wasn't sure who Bobby's father was. It might be Brady, it might NOT!
I agree - if the interviewer actually watched the show, he would have known that who Bobby's father is was still a mystery.
Also, did I miss something somewhere - the article also refers to Carin as Vincent's ex-wife - I thought all that was cleared up months ago.
