Moving day: 'Law & Order: CI' sent packing to USA

Looking for "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" this season? It switches from NBC to sister cable channel USA at 10 tonight.
Those kinds of moves are usually in the other direction -- with programs shifting to cable reruns -- but the media landscape is constantly changing these days.
Things get personal in this opening chapter, which poses problems for higher-ups. It happens when Detective Eames (Kathryn Erbe) reopens old wounds about her husband's murder after his former partner is shot dead on the job. Leave it to Detective Goren (Vincent D'Onofrio ) to put a fly in everybody's ointment, including Eames'.
D'Onofrio may have put on a few pounds and may be speaking a bit slower, with fewer nervous ticks, but he's the same old go-get-'em guy in the end tonight. More.

I've been an ER fan for years but last year felt myself not watching every week as I normally would and with the departure of Goran Visnjic, I think ER has lost some steam-
