Mr & Mrs D'Onofrio expecting a baby

Actor Vincent D'Onofrio and his wife Carin Van Der Donk are expecting a baby this winter, the show's rep confirms exclusively to PEOPLE.
"We're very excited," says the 48-year-old actor, who stars in USA Network's Law & Order: Criminal Intent. More.

Such wonderful news! No wonder Vincent is suddenly interested in staying on CI long term, he wants to stay close to home with a new baby. He's such a devoted Dad, this child will want for nothing, especially love.
That photo - from the premier of Talk Radio a few months back? Doesn't Carin look like she's expecting in that shot?
Yet another reason that Carin is the luckiest woman an Earth... *sigh* I too am jealous as all get out, but so happy and excited for them!

I must say, this comes totally unexpected...
My first thought was how wonderful, my second was my gosh he's certainly spaced his kids out. I think Elias turns 8 this winter and Leila turns 16 in the spring so the children are going to be almost 8 years apart.
Hey maybe the extra weight is sympathy weight, I've heard some dads put on weight when their wives are expecting, of course a new baby could run the pounds off (And keep him from sleeping)

I think it's so awesome that they are having a baby together again. That must be true love, to overcome their issues, reunite and have another baby together. Congrats to them both, and prayers for a healthy baby!!!
