I don't know who took this picture but I think you got him before he took out a cigarette, it does look to me that he has not only a coffee but a pack of smokes. Otherwise he looks just fine.

Yanno... I know it's not good for him, but the smoking really doesn't bother me. It kind of fits with my perception of the kind of New Yorker he is, which I love.
Besides... it makes me think of that scene in Velocity of Gary when he takes a drag from a joint and breathes it into his lovers' mouths. That's just hot.
He may have picked back up the cigs as a way to help lose the weight but here's hoping he ditcges them soon for his sake and Elias' and the new baby

He looks very good--healthy, comfortable. I do wish he'd kick the nicotine habit though, for the sake of his kids and the new baby if not for himself. But it is nice to see him in non-LOCI duds!

btw... not sure you're right about the Marlboro Lights... That looks like a pack of Camels to me. Hard to tell at this resolutino tho.
I haven't seen anything posted on this site about VDO's weight that I would call nasty. He was a bit heavy, but that's to be expected when you get older. I'm sure he gained weight while trying to quit smoking. Some people can't keep their weight down without cigarettes.
As long as he smokes enough away from his family to prevent second hand smoke effects, than it's his own personal choice.
And did I mention that he looks fantastic? Muscular & healthy. As regi mentioned, maybe he's off on a little trip post filming. Now with the strike, he'll have time.

Well, I’ve been out of pocket for so long I can’t believe all that’s happen in the last month. I have only got to see amends today and felt so sorry for detective ames. I could identify with her about how she felt after her husband died; knowing that this is only a movie and not real life. It’s been over 10 years for me and there are still people he worked with that I’ve never seen since the funeral.
But now to happier things. Vince is going to be a father again. What a ‘stud’ and a giant of a man. This must be such a special time for him and Carin. I can’t wait to see the other 2 episodes I’ve missed featuring goren and ames but I’ll get caught up.
Now these pictures. Wow !!!! What I like most is his direct look into the camera. We don’t see that on tv. They have to avoid the camera. He is hot, smoking, fantastic, and every other adjective we could think of. For now, I’m still in awe.
Happily not here, but there have been, and continue to be, some appallingly snarky comments at other sites, including USA. Believe it or not, even these lovely pictures have incurred someone's wrath along the lines of the difference between Vincent and Bobby is that Bobby knows how to dress like a 48 year old, whereas Vincent doesn't . Charming I'm sure, and 1000% wrong of course. He looks adorable, and the man is gorgeous.

he looks gorgeous! but i can't imagine being picked apart like that, everything what he has in his hands, what he's wearing, if he smokes. as i've said b4, he's grown man (a hot one at that!) he wears what wants to, he smokes if he wants to! it's part of what makes him so attractive, that he does what he wants.
Ya Kris... no wonder he doesn't pay much attention to what is being said about him on the internet. There are alot of ignorant, unpleasant people out there.
I'm just glad to have found someplace to appreciate him with other people who get it and don't roll their eyes at me :)
For the benefit of the critics, I would probably sneer at anyone else wearing this outfit, but on Vincent it looks absolutely wonderful. He is absolutely all man, a giant hunk of masculinity.
I only worry about the cigs because I want him to live many more healthy years.

Vincent wears those Goren suits and ties during most of their long, thirteen hour workdays— let the poor guy dress comfortably on his days off.
I love it. I love when Goren goes casual too. (Watched him in the Cuba Libre brown fleece last night. One of my favorite scenes!)
It's been 3 days since I've seen these pics and I still can't help drooling over them. Actually, I love them more today than yesterday.
Good posting, Kris. Vincent is a grown man just living his life. I really don't know how people can handle celebrityhood and being examined microscopically by every anal retentive who doesn't like what he's wearing, drinking, smoking, etc. Let's all just enjoy our own lives and Vincent's acting; and let Vincent enjoy his life in whatever way is right for him.
