Great ad but I think that all the late night talk shows are coming back I worry that this will have a negative effect on the strike-

Regina I don't think the talk shows are a problem because they independently negotiated with their writers. So the writers of those shows have contracts that they are apparently comfortable with, considering the people involved in those shows know they can't do their monologues without writers, and if I'm not mistaken a couple of them were at one time writers, I suspect that dealt fairly with their writers.

All the late night talkers have made fair deals with their writers or have agreed to go on without their writers, while still coming out in support of their scribes. I for one support the late night writers as their entire crews were going to lose their jobs on Dec 31 if they did not return to work. Better to let crews of 80ppl per show come back to work than have everyone lose their jobs for something they had no part in.

ALL the crews of ALL the shows with no new (unfilmed) scripts are out of work - that includes LOCI !!

I am so glad that someone made a scan of this ad...I had heard about in several CI and the strike related sources online but had not seen it in person myself.

Well done ladies & gentlemen.

As for supporting the CI crew, I am working on something to that effect that I hope CI & VDO fans will help participate in.
