'LAW & ORDER' ORDER
SanDiego Union-Tribune, 1.21.08
“In the criminal justice system ... ” NBC's “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” (9 p.m. Wednesdays), the best of the three “L&O” shows, is back on the network after a few weeks over at the second-tier USA channel. It's better than ever. Vincent D'Onofrio, TV's most underrated actor, inhabits Robert Goren, the mercurial detective who this year battles personal demons as well as bad guys. His partner, detective Alexandra Eames (the stellar Kathryn Erbe), pairs with him beautifully, he protective of her, she understanding of him. “My partner,” she said on a recent episode, “doesn't adapt well to change.” D'Onofrio and Erbe alternate weekly with Chris Noth and Alicia Witt, also strong. what a great way to start monday morning with a picture of my favorite actor. "TV's most underrated actor", someone finally gets it. vince, you're number 1 in my book -- have been since september 30, 2001.
Quote: "It's better than ever." I love seeing others, especially the media, appreciating CI as we do.
"This quartet sings": yes,it does.
And this article is music to the ears too!
Donna, once again, your thoughts are my thoughts!
Thank you, Reelblog-meister, for staying on top of everything Vincent. It is always a day-bright'ner to pop in and look it all over, read the comments from other VDO fanatics, get a chuckle and an eyeful of the best thing since...well, since nothin'.
Vincent D'Onofrio is unequaled!
It would be nice if NBC could swallow their pride and admit an in error making CI sit second chair when it came to promotion and primetime placement...instead of 'relegating' it to USA. Although, you have to admit, USA has given LOCI the best promotional build-up and support ever.
Clever, fresh and out there.
At any rate, thank you, Reelblog, for your time and efforts. I may not contribute much, but I agree with the regs who so frequently say what's on my mind.

The one upside to the strike (as long as it doesn't last TOO long), as far as LOCI is concerned, is that viewers who might not normally tune into the show might very well be tempted, given the limited amount of certain programs' original dramatic episodes and an abundance of mindless, boring "reality TV." Airing these USA-original eppies over at NBC might very well add to the fan-base of the show . . . hopefully enough to search for it on USA when more original episodes are aired.
'The best of the three L & O shows'
Music to my ears!
wow, since when does anyone but us think it's the "best of the 3"??
What a great picture. Looks like Season 6 hair, which is my favourite.
And it's great to see others seeing it as we do. We are right, after all.
Yessssssssss-one of the best critiques of CI I have ever read-
one correction-Vincent is the most underrated actor on both television and movies-
Just thought I'd throw that in-
