Goren relies on his gut instincts to solve cases, which often proves to be even better than solid evidence at solving a mystery - a bit like a modern-day Sherlock Holmes with a New York accent. He is someone you'd definitely want as a lifeline on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, thanks to his wide knowledge of physics, chemistry, literature, psychology and foreign languages.
Actually, his eccentricity is hard to miss and some fans of the show wonder if there's something a little odd about him.
"He's ridiculously smart," said D'Onofrio. "It's completely unbelievable that a guy like that could exist. So how do you get away with that? You make him weird. He's really arrogant, he's self-centred and he's as spontaneous as you can absolutely be."

Thanks so much for the nice article-wish CI did get the press in the U.S. as it does in other countries-
Regi.
Trust me, it's rarer than locating fresh dinosaur do-do to find anything at all about Vincent or C.I. in the UK Press. I'm still stunned that this is my local evening paper. I even ran out to buy it, to find it contains possibly the smallest picture of Vincent I have ever seen in my life. They also seem to have overlooked the fact it's a Noth episode here tonight, but, hey, good press, is good press, so it's nice to have!
I love to read positive reactions to my favorite actor and my favorite show! Thank you for the article!
