NBC Universal splits TV studio

"NBC Universal is splitting its television studio into two separate companies to create a new production division led by cable chief Bonnie Hammer.
The new studio will be run by Hammer, who will continue her oversight of USA and Sci Fi. In addition, Hammer will add NBC Universal's Emerging Networks group to her list of responsibilities,[/b] including Chiller, Sleuth and Universal HD. (Dan Harrison will continue running the day-to-day operations of the group.) The cable studio's shows will include "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," which shifted its premieres this season from NBC to USA.

Sounds probably like a good idea, though not that familiar with studio practices-

Cautiously optimistic that by specifically mentioning CI, NBC Universal & Bonnie Hammer are planning to produce a Season 8.
Would love to see the channels Chiller & Sleuth on my cable network!
I'm very optimistic for an 8th year because I've yet to see anyone give one good reason why there wouldn't be one.
Can't imagine they'll want to let their beautiful baby go now!
