Hmm, judging by the episode title, this episode may have something to do with Catholicism? I can't think of anything else, really. o.o
As long as Bobby isn't the one put in "Purgatory" in this episode.

Since Bobby was in "Heaven" last episode, maybe he's still suspended (in "Purgatory") pending his psyche evaluation.

My prediction is we're going to experience excessive angst alongside Bobby (yet again) and hopefully, at the end, finally have some sort of resolution. Let's just hope that resolution leans towards a season eight. Course, we'll know that before we see the episode.
Well, I'll be in heaven, anyway, once he's back.
I cannot help feeling that the title is the writers' nodding to the fans - as in, "We know you are all stuck in Purgatory", waiting for the show to return.

Hmm...purgatory, a temporary condition of torment or suffering. (Thanks, Tate.) Since "Untethered" ended with Bobby being suspended, and told that his reinstatement was pending a departmental hearing and a psychological evaluation, I guess the question becomes: will the writers pick up Bobby’s story there or already have him back at work, leaving all of us conjecturing as to what happened to him during the interim? As they say: time will reveal all. For me, the waiting is more than mere purgatory, it's pure torture!
I have been searching the net for this info. I have seen every episode of loci exept wee small hours. Can't wait till June 8th
June 8th can't get here fast enough. Hopefully the writers won't disappoint us. My challenge to the writers is to show us more of Bobby's and Alex's personal lives- to make them "real". What do they do when they're not at work? The fans want to know. Also how about more interaction with the other L&O characters. More cross show action and more interaction with Logan and Fullachi(?). As a fan, I can't get enough of this show especially Bobby and Alex. Come on writers-don't let us down.
