The Hollywood Exclusive: D'onofrio Ready To Re-Up For 'L&O: CI' -- If He Can/'Supernanny' Jo Frost on a Mission To Support New Dads

Criminal Intent" contract is coming up for renewal, but producer Dick Wolf need have no concern that the actor will be leaving his role as the series' Det. Robert Goren.

"I have no plans to go anywhere," says the actor whose "Criminal Intent" role was made more manageable in 2004 -- after he was hospitalized with exhaustion.

"I'm working 13-hour days," he says, "a breeze compared to the 15-16 hours a day I used to put in."

He only hopes there's a show to return to.

This is "Criminal Intent's" seventh season, "which is a long run for a dramatic series," the actor points out. "This year is kind of funky, because of the recent writers' strike and the threatening actors' strike," he says. more

i re-read the story in the Utah paper. he said he was shooting his western in utah.he is going to feed the cast at rib city.

wooohooo

we are already trying to figure out what to wear.

i'd go see him in a play. i think it would be nice for him to do some stuff that's laid back.

as far as loci....

looks like he is dedicated to the cause.
for as long as we watch it....
the show must go on

Vincent, the London stage is a real hit with U.S. actors, hint hint!

She certainly had a boutique for children's clothes, Phillipo, don't know what she's doing now. Maybe just looking after Luca. But also they moved out of NYC, didn't they? I thought I heard to Woodstock.

They really have to renew. We need him.

It's good to hear him say - yet again - that he's happy on C.I. and has no plans to leave. I would guess the plan is Vincent will do his movie once C.I. filming commitments are done - by my reckoning, that will be early July - but all bets on everything could be off if the actors strike. I still cradle a candle of hope that USA love C.I. enough to renew it....PLEA-EEZE
*sniffles pitifully*

Hi Val,
Where did you hear about them moving to Woodstock? That's pretty far from Manhattan (a few hours away in upstate New York). I thought they moved within the city, like across town. Commuting from Woodstock to Manhattan would be very tough. Maybe Woodstock is their summer retreat home?

If memory serves, last year (In the fall I believe) someone said on their blog that they saw Vincent grocery shopping in Woodstock, pushing a little boy in the cart.

Didn't make much sense to me, why would Vincent and family move that far out of Manhattan, and Elias is a too old to be riding in a grocery cart!

Please let USA continue to show the love...We Need Bobby!

oh donna jo, lets not talk commute honey

when we lived in San Franciscco just getting through Marin was a bear. on a sunday....15 minutes. during the week an hour and a half...
and he works 13 hrs days?....

oh pleeeese,

he would have to be the man of steel him self.
(i know the ladies visualized the tights)LOL

i wouldnt be surprised if he moved across the street from work just so he could get a little sleep between reading scripts and diaper changes

diane..July huh?
maybe he'll do the 4t of july parade, i could see him waving from the back of a convertable or riding a horse through town with the whole western staff. wouldnt that be fab

so...guess i'll be breaking out the bukenstocks and linen capris for utah. july is the hotest month in of the year.
i was considering my Ralf Lauren tote with matching wide brim hat but i dont want to scare the poor man.
hope he does his PR at night, i love wearing black too. i have this fab polo linen button up with the red pony and the cap to match, with a pair of black jeans and the birkies.....and if a tied a sweater around me shoulders. oh...thats runway

my gal pals are more nervy than i am now that things are being confirmed about us taking a road trip to see him.
but we won't breathe until we hear it from the one source we can really trust....

thereel

or Mr. D himself (but of course)

If Vincent wants to stay on CI, that should be all USA and Dick Wolf need to know, plus Chris Noth is going to receive a lot of publicity from the Sex and the City movie so we just have to keep posting our comments on the USA blog to keep CI going-
As far as working in a film and directing Mac Dog, not sure what his schedule is and with the possible actors strike, who knows-

I'm interested to see he wants to do some live theatre.

Reason being, if I knew exactly WHEN and WHERE I might possibly stand a decent chance of being able to see the man in the flesh ... then that MIGHT be incentive enough for me to break all of my environmental principles, and fly to NYC.

(Believe me when I say that would be a Very Big Deal for me.)

Lozzie....

If Vincent ever commits to a show in NYC (Broadway or off Broadway) everyone who can make it here, we should pick a specific date & meet before the show, have dinner together & go! Then we could wait for VDO after the show & meet him!

If anyone wants, I'll take the day & show you guys around the city.

Count me in, DonnaJo. I would fly to NYC in a heartbeat to see VDO perform live. I am overjoyed to hear that he has no plans to leave LOCI. Lets hope Chris Noth is of like mind because the favorable schedule can't work without him.

well isnt that lovely miss donna. im sure you'd make an excellent tour guide

(as you ALL know) we hope to full fill that dream this summer in utah
i havent been on a plane since i was 8. scared the crap out of me.so i cant say i would make it to new york.

from reno to utah is enough of a road trip for us.

there are about 15 of us who are planning to caravan into utah from all parts of navada.

hopefully we'll know atleast a week in advanced so we can plan it perfectly.it would only take half a day to drive over

im sure what ever he does he'll do at rib city..so we will eat there of course.

too bad you cant come to utah.

hay, you live in new york? dont you go to the CI locations to see him? i know i would.

my gal pals are much more into him than i am (of course)

i just like the fact that he is such a humble guy and he loves his mom!

he's not my type in "that way" lol

but he is very nice.

good luck with your little get together missy, have a cosmo for me

phillipo,

I don't live or work in the city, I'm about at least an hour away. So I can't go after work like Shauna did to maybe see Vincent at a shoot location. I plan on going in the summer, that's if there isn't a strike.

But I could plan a day off to show everyone Chelsea Piers, NBC Studios & other CI related spots if VDO was in a show.

I sincerely hope you & your friends get to see him in Utah.

If Vincent wants to stay at LO:Ci, and WE certainly want him there, AND the rating have been fabulous, the writing getting better...If It's canceled..we TV villagers need to gather our pitchforks and fire sticks and storm Frankenstein's castle (ie: USA NETWORK and while we're at it NBC)
