Poor Vincent - he can't even enjoy a ciggie in private! LOL. Has to smoke outdoors like everyone else. No privacy there. Looks like he's really let his hair go completely natural. And his arms seem as big as ever ... *sigh*
Thanks for posting these pictures- I am amazed that you were able to get them- One of them was posted on IMDB by Libby Lee and I saw it was Splash and yes you just can't get in to see them- So this is just great- And Vincent looks phenomenal- Yes it would be better without the cigarette, but no one is perfect- When Vincent did the audio narrative for Steal This Movie, he said during the court scene when he was playing the older Abbie Hoffman with glasses how much he looked like his father- And I think in this picture, give his glasses and he certainly resembles his Dad- Looking great Vincent- Regi.
The day this was taken (May 11th) was a G/E shoot day. So is that Goren dressed in all black, or VDO? Probably VDO before shooting began. And what's up with the hair & beard? I mean,he looks fantastic, but not like a NYPD Detective.
The L&O staff must have missed the NYPD memo about their new dress code which issues strict limitations on facial hair.
NYPD prefers mostly clean-shaven look

The increasingly diverse NYPD wants to get a little more uniform: Cops have been told to say goodbye to their goatees, chin strap beards and designer hair affectations more suitable for, well, designers.
Police officers are allowed to have mustaches -- the most notable wearer is Chief of Department Joe Esposito -- and undercovers can pretty much do whatever they want when it comes to facial hair.
The department also allows officers to grow beards if they suffer from Pseudofolliculitis barbae, a dermatological condition better known as PFB that is common among black men and afflicts those who shave with rashes and scarring, mostly on and under their chins, as well as on their cheeks and necks.
But according to a recent memo circulated throughout the department, officers with such clearance do not have carte blanche to let their hair down, so to speak.
In other words, no goatees, no chin strap beards (think Barry White), and no "designer beards," the kind Mike Piazza used to wear when he played for the Mets.
The memo, dated Jan. 8 and issued by Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, details an NYPD Patrol Guide revision that sources said is a combination of two factors: recently-appointed Chief of Patrol Robert Giannelli is a stickler for appearances, and both Giannelli and other police officials have seen in the past year or so a less-than-strict adherence to the rules of appearance.
The NYPD may be trying to foster better community relations, but it's not about to get too warm and fuzzy, according to police sources.
In other words, the NYPD doesn't do Casual Friday.
And that, according to one law and police science professor, is exactly how it should be.
"Appearance is so important in any kind of authoritative role,'" said Jim Curran, who was a cop in the 1960s and now teaches at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. "Police officers should be clean. They should look nice. The Patrol Guide emphasizes that for a reason.'"
Maybe that's the real reason why Jesse L Martin left the mothership ;)
Just to set the record straight - it was originally Tess who sent me a copy of the top piccie!
Gooodnes me but he DOES LOOK LOVELY.
I suppose Goren is facially furry because he's on suspension/undercover - not to mention also suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and severe depression. And of course he's missing Eaaaaames.
Maybe Vincent has more facial hair 'cause it was the weekend and he wasn't working! I'm sure his perma-stubble can quite quickly turn to beard if left to it's own devices.
I guess Vincent's Beard is just another one to put down to "artistic license", then.
Let's face it - not only would REAL NYPD detectives not be allowed to sport beards (unless they were undercover?) they would not really be allowed to be so UNSPEAKABLY HOT, either.

I dunno... I went to the Subway Series one summer, which meant there were about 100+ cops hanging in and around Yankee Stadium... I think some might give our VDO a run for his money ;)

*Giggles!* VDO and I have the same taste in Diet Soda!
Thanks for the pictures!

Is it just me that Splash News won't let in or is everyone else getting the 'You don't have the right to be here so go away please' message ;0)
Thanks for posting these. It's always such a joy to see new pictures of Vincent...and for some reason, I just love that he isn't wearing socks!!!
He's so beautifully big and beefy.
Wow, suddenly I don't feel so bad about being a smoker, I'm in good company.^^
Awww he's looking cuddly. All in black and no socks, and lookin' scruffy.
Thanks so much for posting the pics!

All the more reason to say...Hurry up, June 8th!!
Hi Vincent...You look Wonderful!
May 11 was a Sunday (Mothers day) I don't think CI films on weekends, do they?!
Looks like he was enjoying a quiet weekend.
It may have been a Sunday, but those are his Goren shoes.
My grey hair isn't coming in so curly anymore either.
Thanks for posting!
Mother's Day! Maybe Vincent took the kids out so Carin could sleep late? That's what I would want for Mother's Day.
As far as smoking in the house, I'm sure he has a patio or terrace where he can smoke from at his Manhattan Condo.
Word! Val, on the "big & beefy" LOL.
Let there be a Bobby-Alex kissing scene on the next BA episode!

Why, Enaka, you don't want them to be partners anymore? (The NYPD doesn't allow romantic relationships between partners.)
VDO should lay off the smokes.
Sing along with me, girls:
"What a man! What a man! What a man! What a mighty good man!"
Whenever I see pictures of him I want to sing!

i thought my friend was messing with me, but she texted me two days ago that her mom saw VDO and then she saw KE near NYU's campus.
I told her to stop torturing me (she saw Chris Noth a few times too).
Sigh, so lucky! He looks adorable...hehehe...such a badass...

Is it June 8th yet?!
They must be letting VDO grow out his beard for his summer western, so Goren obviously has to have one as well. Wonder if they will explain it?
Can't be because of suspension - these episodes he is filming have him off suspension per the casting calls/spoilers I've read.
I guess Vincent's Beard is just another one to put down to "artistic license", then.
