This week's Entertainment Weekly magazine dated June 6 2008 #995/996 has 2 mentions of CI. One is under the "What to Watch" section. This section appears at ew.com online and should be updated this coming Monday. The other blurb appears under the summer tv preview, which may or may not appear online.
Under the special summer tv preview section it says:
Bringing the crazy back
Vincent D'Onofrio's Det. Robert Goren is just as unhinged as ever. After his mother's death and his undercover work in a mental hospital, he leans on partner Alex Eames (Kathryn Erbe). "Her character's going to be more established," says D'Onofrio. Does that mean Goren will take time for therapy? "Why?" wonders D'Onofrio. "He seems perfectly normal to me."
There is also a spoiler about Det. Wheeler in this section and a small photo of D'Onofrio holding a gun. The Scoop
Julianne Nicholson's Det. Megan Wheeler returns from working a task force (i.e., maternity leave), now engaged. How does partner Mike Logan (Chris Noth) take the news? "He teases her about it, of course," says Nicholson.
Sunday 6.08 TV What to Watch:
Law & Order Criminal Intent
Goren's back (physically, if not exactly mentally). Hey, out of curiosity, how crazy can you be and stil carry a gun for a living?
This issue also shows the season ratings for all network shows. LOCI ranks No. 81, tied with Moonlighting. It is 115th in the 18-49 demo, 7.5 million viewers, 3% DVR viewers.

"He seems perfectly normal" to me too, Vincent! In any case, I am happy to see our show getting so much publicity. And it sounds exciting to hear Robert will be leaning more on Alex. She is a strong woman and I know she can support him.
One more week to wait! Hanging... on,... just... barely.
Thank you for the posts-
Great comment from Vincent-
Wonderful to hear that Kate is going to get more time for Eames as well-but more established, I wonder where they are going with them-
Now we just have to do something about these ratings-
81-no way-
Regi.
Surely those must be ratings for the rerun on NBC! The show was repeatedly Numero Uno on USA.
I'm happy to hear Vincent doesn't think Bobby needs therapy. I don't think he does either, he clearly just needs....me ;0)
The rating for the show coming in at 81 only reflects that their premiere episode on NBC drew 7.5 million viewers. What the person reporting this information didn't include was the fact that "top rated" NBC shows like "My Name is Earl" and "30 Rock" pulled in lower audiences for their first episodes. The numbers for LOCI were actually pretty respectable considering the hype surrounding Earl and 30 Rock.
I would be happyyyyyyy!!!!!! to support him in any which way he wants. Financially, Mentally, Emtionally, and of course physically. LOL Love the CI series and 81 no way. Acer110
Hi, Eu também acho que o Det. Robert Goren não é nada louco! E nem que ele tem a doença da mãe (esquisofrenia). Ele é perfeitamente normal. Só engraçado! Alterado um pouco. Mas nada além disso.
