What's wrong with the industry. They must have something against New York based shows. Do they have something against Mr. D'Onofrio because he won't play the "Hollywood" game? At least his fans care and value his talent.
Unfortunately I am not suprised-
Well we all know who the best actor is on television and that's all that matters-
Vincent, all the way-
Regi.
Surprise suprise! Hugh again....apparently SOME mannerisms of Some actors are appreciated, if you have a good press no matter how repetitious your acting is, how unbeleivable your stories are...
Unbelievable! What is wrong with these people? Is Boston Legal even on anymore? If so, that's what they're watching instead of Criminal Intent? If not, then it can't be that good. To everyone involved in making CI, we love you! Thank you for all of your hard work and the great show you always turn out. You have been overlooked far, far, far too many times.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised - after all, it is the likes of this committee that neglected to produce a win for Mr. D'Onofrio when he did his guest appearance on Homocide: Life on the Streets - another truely outstanding performance also overlooked. :/
I feel very very angry. I would say more, but I don't want to swear on your lovely blog.
I shall go swear on my blog, instead.
Well, there's a surprise NOT! Fortunately, we KNOW the show and it's actors are wonderful. *blows raspberries to stuffed shirts*
What is wrong with these people? What does Vincent have to do to get nominated? Actually die onscreen?
Aargh! I'm not surprised Vincent wasn't nominated but it really bothers me that someone so talented is constantly overlooked. I do have to say, though, that I think Hugh Laurie is a fantastic actor (he has won already, though, so it should go to someone else), and Boston Legal is one of the best shows on t.v. in my opinion. James Spader and William Shatner are so great together.
Boo for not nominating Vincent, though.
Boo! Boo! Hiss!
Fortunately, Mr. D'Onofrio is an artist who does what he does to please himself and his audience. We know that he is a great talent who has created one of the richest most complex characters to ever grace the small screen. If the Emmmy voters cannot also see this well...you can say a few choice words about them for me on your blog, Lozzie.
Aww, I'm very disappointed. I was hoping this might be the year for a nomination for Vincent, what with USA supporting the show. But I shouldn't be surprised. While there are a few new faces in the crowd, still, the same ones are nominated year after year. I love Tony Shalhoub, but how many noms/Emmys does he need, or even deserve? What? There's NO other actor doing comedy that the committee could choose from? JMO, but the Emmys are a big fat joke. Can you tell I'm angry? :)
My, my...these people are truly nuts! How they miss Mr. D'Onofrio is beyond me. He is creative, smart, experimental and is an actor's actor.
Glad that Dexter got some nominations and I wish that Pushing Daisy's had gotten more.
Yet, Ms. Erbe of course also got nothing. SVU again got a nomination by it's lead actress, a mistake. Ms. Erbe is as good or better.
I am very upest about this. I think that Vincent, Kathryn, & Eric should have been nominated. Hopefully this will corrected NEXT time. I think that fuzzytweetie is right on the button.
what a bummer. i can only hope vincent knows he has faithful and devoted fans who love him and CI.
haaay, haaay
who says "we" can't say that he's won
guess what..
and im sure the reel will back me up on this...
vincent d'onofrio has been voted best actor in tv drama by the reelvincentdonofrio fans and fans of usa network.
we have spoken, screw every one else.
let us remember, (though it is a shame that he was not nominated) that vince has never wanted to be famous, he just loves his work and likes to stay below the radar
lets be happy for him because he would not have wanted to show up at some stuffy ball in a panguin suit sitting around a bunch of egotistcal undeserving want to be diva dudes and dudettes eating soggy chicken and uncle bens rice pilaf.
he does'nt roll like that,
so....
"we" gave him his props and im sure it means much more to him comming from us than it would from a bunch of stiffs who dont know talent from tampons, running around passing out some stupid statue.
we all voted and we know who's the daddy!

I'm not surprised either, just very annoyed.
Come on now Emmy nominating committee, Vincent was brilliant at portraying quirky genius FIRST and still is.
I'll pass on the Emmy show again this year to watch some real entertainment— LOCI being rerun on some savvy station.
