Vincent D'Onofrio and Jeff Goldblum are invited to attend the Toronto Film Festival. Also invited is "The Narrows" stars Kevin Zegers and Sophia Bush.

Here is the full invited guest list for this years Toronto International Film Festival. TIFF'08 runs Sept 4-13.

For the very first time in my life, I wish that I lived in Toronto....
I do have family I could visit in Ontario...
Has it been confirmed that Vincent will attend the TIFF or does his name just appear on the list of invited guests? If I knew for sure I would seriously make plans to be in Toronto when he is there. George Clooney, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt - who cares!!! VDO is the only reason I would go. (Wellll ... Brad Pitt, maybe!) In any case, does anybody out there have more definite information?
to have to sift through a crowd of 500 people......
not that i wouldn't be able to spot him easily.
if i had wings i would fly there...and land quietly by his side in the dark of the night just for the chance to whisper my name into his ear and disappear, so that he may better understand his own magickal powers.

we're curious..
how does this film fest thing work.
i just assumed that the movies staton island and the narrows were big screen movies and what about mac dog?
will they be in the theatre, ever? or must we wait an eternity for them to come out on dvd or something.
how can we fans(who dont get out much) find the chance to see his latest projects?
and those lucky folks in canada, blessed with the chance to meet the man in the flesh......
and hows that werstern coming anyway, is he still going to make the film?
we saw men in black on demand under free movies over the weekend. he did an awsome job, he is amazingly funny as this bug. we'd love to see him do more big screen work or atleast have access to the stuff that gets in these film fests?

Staten Island is scheduled to be released in November 2008. Last we heard, The Narrows was tentatively scheduled for release in 2009 but production company said they were uncertain of an actual date. Sorry, no info regarding the western. We'll be sure to post information when available.
It's a while since I've been to Toronto. However, I seem to remember they said Vincent was 'expected' at the premiere of 'Thumbsucker' but he didn't go, so I might wait for some confirmation before dusting off my passport ;0)

I live around where most of the festival takes place. I'll make sure to get as many pics as I can if he actually shows up.
