Same exact title as the Season 1 episode with Michael O'Keefe as the priest. Can't they come up with new titles?

The plot looks pretty interesting. Just the idea that they are filming for season 8 is exciting!

Great, filming again in less than 2 weeks.

If there is some location filming, can someone, anyone, everyone go down with a camera and post some pictures, please, pretty please.

Joy, getting desperate withdrawal symptoms, there's just not enough chocolate in the world to get me through the wait.

I thought the same thing, too, Donnajo...recycling titles. Someone isn't paying attention, but it is good to know that Season 8 will be off and "shooting" again in just a few days.

Well;

I don't think they're running out of titles, recycling, or not paying attention, no way....!!

Au contraire, the same title, and the same general idea, is deliberately chosen, to show yet, another veiw, to a criminal intent.

They're chalenging our minds, folks...

Ther're smart.

And Phillipo's Queen;

I'm not trying to pull a smart guy -rather, a smart gal- here, but if I were you -I mean, if you're really eager to play in Vicent's project, whenever that's gonna be- the least I could do, was to go to some auditoins...You know, get a closer look at the whole thing, give it a try, and see if it was the right thing for me....

Think of this, as a God-given-chance to prepare, before your "road trip" ....!!

I noticed the same titles too-maybe its a "working title".

I think the title might change before the episode airs, once they realise their mistake. After all, the production and writing personnel have changed completely since Season 1, and they probably don't have any idea of the depth of our obsession, the fact that we know all the episodes and their titles by heart.

Glad to put them straight!

I can't see that it matters even the tiniest bit what an episode is called. Even if it is the same title as season 1, so what? Hopefully we all have enough brain power to recognise a 'new' 2008 episode from an 'old' 2000 one ;0)

My favourite cousin and his partner have been together 20 years and last year were at last able to enter into a civil partnership here in England. What a fabulous day we all had. I hope that you and your partner will one day have the same right, perhaps even more rights.

One thing is for sure, by what he has said in interviews about equality for everyone and in the choices of some of the films he has made, is that Vincent would also give his support for change in the law in this respect. Which I think is another reason why so many of us care about him, not only is his one of the greatest actors in the world today, but that his ideals match our own.

By the way do you need any help eating the Godiva chocolates your going to get to help you through the pain of not seeing Vincent filming. Cause I'm your woman, I have over 50 years experience at eating chocolate.

yours Joy

By the way don't tell my other cousins who is my favourit, please.

Thank god, that my guts didn't fail me.....

Phillipo And Partner;

As funny as it may sound, I had the gut feeling, that you were not so inexperienced in the entertainment world.........But scince you seemed to really have fun playing, I played along for a while......( It's the truth; I'm not trying to save face, here.)

Hope I got a good grade.

I'm really glad, that two people have found eachother so right, to build a stable relationship, and keep it for 15 years....

I really wish the best of the best, for you both.

I agree with Vivienne; this is one of many lessons, that I've learned from Vincent.

It may not be my lifestyle; but I respect it; for it's somebody's lifestyle.

Though Vincent -so modestly, as ever- has been repeating over and over, that "It's just acting; it's not some deep, heavy thing"; but I believe that he's the kind of actor, who wouldn't take a role, unless he was somehow impressed by it...

His long career shows, that he's not in this, for money, or fame....

He's played so many different characters, that one can't really say, that what brings us together from all over the world, on this blog, is the characters he's played ....

And I sincerely believe that it's not his looks - though no doubt, we all agree that he's simply gorgeous....!!

We all need some kind of poll, or northern star, or magnet -as you called it- to adjust our hopes towards, sometimes.

So, believe me, I get it, when you say that you'll be waiting for the next summer......

And I really wish, that Vincent'd have some fun, special time, before work begins; but believe me, a film fest to him, would be like a convention or a seminar, on our lines of work; with you or me, being one of the lecturers....

You'll have some fun, but you'll also have to teach, and learn.....

But then again, you know all this, already.....Sorry.....!!

So I don't envy him.......I still envy you and drama queen, for the odds of you, ever meeting our favourite guy, would be far more than me....

So "blogmate" to "blogmate", I'll still need that favor -the second nod- and if you ever get to shake his hand, shake it twice, please.....

Not even a 50 year-worth of chocolate, would compare to it......!!

Many thanx, in advance;

Saghy

Oh my, thank you all so much...

we're beginning to feel like we have a little bit of a fan club.....it feels nice

i know this site belongs to vince but i thank u for sharing your comments and support

and yes, i do remember vincent playing a role where he kissed a man. i think he had long black hair, didnt he play like, a phone sex pimp or something like that?

he is very professional, i know it was just work for him but i admire his "no limits" attitude when he finds a character he is interested in.
he's also played a priest, a serial killer and soldier. none of which pertain to his own life but never the less he played them well, very well!

i have a friend in California who adores him even more than we do, she barrows my account sometimes "angelswearblak"

i turned her on to criminal intent, then i introduced her to the reel.
she used to just read and eventualy started making a few comments
when we invited her to do the road trip with us she started checking the site more often. one day she called me, it felt like she was in tears but she never admitted it,

for those of u who know... she's an eclectic.

anywho... she took a deep breath and said to me..."i just saw a picture of vincent on the reel, from head to toe, he was dressed in black and he had this aura around him. he was surrounded by "the glow" and it was amazing"

she paused, regained composure, then continued...

"our expections of angels have always been white gowns, wings and halos, etc.....
"i looked at him, standing there glowing, beautiful and brillant, strong, masculin...

it was then that i realized that dispite what we've been taught as mere mortals... angels wear back too"

i really felt for her.. but i know i started something special. she now uses the name "angelswearblak" for her email address

u go, girlfriend

..i say all that to say that he is an inspiration to most and legand to many. his work, his humble attitude, his passion and insight touches us all.

thanks again for your kindness , smooches to all

phillipo and friends

p.s. to angelswearblak..
please dont be mad at me for revealing your secret. if ever he reads this, he would be honored to know that u see him in a light that no one else could ever imagine.

luv u..miss u

Phillipo and friends (especilly Angelswearblak);

You're welcome; I'm sure dear Vincent wouldn't mind, if we borrow a very small part of his blog, discussing issues, which I'm pretty sure, matter to him, as well.....

And if Angelswearblak happenes to read this.......

You touched my heart.

I can't explain the way it feels, when a total stranger describes exactly the way you feel.....!!

Though you may not admire it, but I really appreciate Phillipo, mentioning this.

And I think, that Vincent would be flattered.

Being so modest and humble, as he is, he'd probably laugh, and touch the back of his neck....

of course, some of his fans might have quite a good laugh about this , and make quite unpleasant remarks about it, too....

But I don't mind, and hope you wouldn't, either.

Thank you again, and wish you all the best;

provided by the reel for us to stay
updated on Vincent and HIS work. I do not enjoy reading about anyone
else and their sexual preference and their past work experience. Please do this on your own blog and lets keep the focus on our
VINCENT!!! Thank you, seahairr

okay, first of all miss(i've never seen your name on this space before) the reel reviews all comments before they're posted, and since it's their website and they have the discretion to post what they feel is approciate....

meanwhile.....

we dont make comments with out some mention or reference to vince. people bond and make friends through many means. this web site has be responsible for many friendships

(just read the blog site where people are meeting in toranto)

how dare you personlize anything u see here. this is not about u honey, this is about people who care about vincent and care enough for each other to want to know who they are corrosponding with

saghy, regi, donnjo. and more, are people who i have chatted with a little here and there about common interests of vincent. it's nice to know that they are the kinds of people who care about each other, placing a personality with the comments is not a bad thing.

and as sweet and wonderful as vincent is, i know he would be glad to know that becuase of him, people are getting to know eachother all across the globe.

phillipo and many Reel friends!!!!

We do not want to offend anyone here. We moderate comments to prevent the trolls from having the opportunity to post inflammatory derogatory comments, but not to prevent visitors from just talking with each other. It seems that it was Vincent who brought these folks together.

Oh,'so am I.

I'm sorry, too -in part.

And I agree with you -again; in part.

I'm sorry, if what's been going on here, has not been clear enough, for everyone to understand.

I believe, that this blog is all about Vincent; and making personal references here; is something we actually should do for him....!!

Making references, such as feild of expertise, or what aspect of Vincent's work, or character, or looks, etc., do we admire more, or less, and even our "sexual preferences", will help Vincent, in getting a better understanding of what stuff we -his devoted fans- are made of, and what we really want.....

It's called "demography".....Ring any bells.....??

It may seem funny, but this is quite serious stuff.....After all, vincent's "Work" -he's doing it for himself, his family, and most probably, us.

I'm pretty sure, that if not Vincent himself, at least someone directly related to him, reads anything published about him - including on the internet- carefully, and makes good use of them; it would be unwise, not to.

On the other hand, it would show us, different aspects of our favourite actor -different "versions" of Vinsent, we didn't see -at leat not so clearly.

Long story short; I believe that the dear admins of this blog, are its very rightful owners; and have the right - and will exercise it- to disapprove any comment -or commentor- once things get out of hand, in any possible way.

Apart from that, we're all entitled to our opinions. I may not agree with you, but still, respect your ideas.

you are right in thinking we are all here to read news about Vincent, and a wonderful job the reel does about keeping us informed on everything to with Vincents work.

However, at the moment we are between series of Criminal Intent and because of the threat of the actors strike the film Vincent was going to make has not happened, so people are filling in the time getting to know each other. As someone who lives in England I have to admit I do not know a single person who is a fan of Vincents, so it's nice to talk just for a while to other people who know about Vincents work.

Phillipo

The film where Vincent kissed another man is The Velocity of Gary and is a wonderful film with lots of unusual characters who come together to form a family of sorts. Well worth buying if you do not aready have a copy.

I agree Vincents choice of films in them selves would not necessarily indicate his belief system, however, I did see an interview he gave after filming the psa on racial hatred, in which he said that he disliked hatred of any discription. Link hopefully below.

http://www.tv.com/video/8123/vincent-donofrio-interview?o=tv

Also talking of The Velocity of Gary, I can't think anyone who disapproved of this lifestyle would play the part Vincent did.

There is a certain actor, who I won't name, who was stopped for drink driving, who when interviewed by the police managed to insult every group in society to which he didn't belong, race, religion, sex etc.

I couldn't see him playing this part. I would pay good money to see him playing Valentino, but at my age I might just have an accident through laughing too much.

Regards to all.

I know this title is exactly the same title in the first season...and seeing the teaser gives me a fact that season 8 is going back to the crimes than personal teasers in a new way.

I would call this "The Unfaithul" just to differ with season 1's "The Faithful".

thank u viv

every once in a while, we see a new name pop up, but there are a few of us here who are faithfull to the reel and the the fanship of mr donofrio.

we go a little off the path at times but we never lose sight of why we post here. we're just getting to know little things about each other as the months go by.

most of us post some kind of comment almost everyday.
i dont know if it would be called addiction or dedicaiton but what ever it is....we are here for him, and eachother.
we listen to each other, share our thoughts a and feelings about vince or kate or the show and some times slip in a few personal notes. it brings us closer i'm sure.

the velosity of gary...oh yeah. i only saw the trailer but i'll look for it at blockbuster.

i'm holding my breath waiting for the tiff pics to come out,

he always looks so friendly and happy.

i hope carin will be by his side again. it would be a nice little get away for the two of them before she starts packing those peanut butter and jelly luches for school again lol

wow, i know he must have fans in england, u just havent found them yet, if they have a tv, they and dont know him, they need some serious donofrio-cation

smooches

Very logically put, Vivienne; thank you.

I've seen only clips of "The Velocity Of Gary" -many many thanks to Thereel and also to Youtube.

Youtube is actually filtred, by my country's IPs -almost- and managing to watch a Vincent's fanvid, no matter what it contains, is nothing short of a triumph.

As much as being honored, to be one of Mr. DÓnofrio's dedicated fans, I'm not too surprised, that you don't know any other VDO fans, -"in your area", so to speak.

He's, generally, been somewhat "picky" in the roles he's played, and kinda "cherished" his anonimity -which he once mentioned "is now gone; forever".

So it's no surprise, he should as well have "handpicked", selective fans, too....1!

Of course, I expected a little bit more of the british - meaning, I don't know any other Vincent's fans like me -in my country!- either; but there's a very logical explanation to it; vincent's career actually began after there was a fatal blow -to my country, to my culture, to my people- thirty years ago.........

People who are somewhat into movies and art here, know Stanley Kubrick very well; they know "Full Metal Jacket" -and Sgt. Gomer Pyle- they know "JFK", and recognize Vincent in it; But that's about it.

Some have been keen enough, to learn about his filmography, or search him on the internet.

And don't get me wrong, it's not that they don't want to -everything is just so "controled", over here....

That's why I feel so lucky, and so honored, to have ever got the chance to know Mr. DÓnofroi.

I know, possibly most american, and many european actors -classic and new age- including the one you didn't name, whow I used to respcet a little more than I do, today; and needless to say, Vincent is different, he IS something.

I guess it's him, who inspires all the "soul baring moments" on this blog. As a dear "blogmate" once said: "I blame it all, on that Vincent bloke"......!!

And I apologize, if I've offended anyone here, with my personal references....

It's just that, my praise to Mr. DÓnofrio, and my soul baring thing, were so inter-woven, that I just couldn't separate them.....!!

And frankly, I still have that "demography" thing, on the back of my mind.

Many thanks, to thereel, again -for being so logical.

And, Phillipo, you're welcome; of course, one should defend the family...But the truth is, having always been a bit of a right-side fan, had I really known, of any wrong doing here, I couldn't have defended it; no way...!!
