Seems like a rather tight schedule -considering, that Vincent / Kathy are already shooting, and this epi's supposed to be aired, just a week later.
And, no signs of a "combined epi.", for now....
(Sigh, sigh)
Do we even know the name of Goldblum's character yet?
i wonder if jeffs charactor is going to get the same crappy desk that logan had in his first loci.
wouldnt that be a great way to start? lol
i think it's going to turn out okay for jeff. i think the writers are going to give him some interesting stuff to work with.
maybe he'll be married with children instead of another member of the lonely hearts detectives club.
sghy2.
left u messeage on the post that they removed... hope u had a chance to read it
phillipo
Val-His name is Zach Nichols.
Phillipo- It's back.
I don't think he'll be married. Maybe divorced with kids. Let's face it-it's better for ratings if the guy is single and available for fans to fantasize about.
Not that I would fantasize about Jeff Goldblum, but some might....
phillipo;
I did; since our dear admins have kindly provided for the follow up comments, on the subjects we've participated in, to be emailed to us.
Hopefully, you've read my reply on the new "LOCI filming" post, by now...
Hummm...
Family ties, for detective Nichols.....
In the world of LOCI, family ties are a burden -an overall source of torment.....Take look at Bobby's family -which is a phenomenon, to itself- and Eames's marriage and pregnancy.....
Considering, the kind of cop, Goldblum is expected to make
-though I'm still hoping for a surprise, rather than the obvious- his family ties, won't be any less dramatic, I'm afraid.
On the other hand, don't be surprised, if Bobby and Nichols, somehow cross paths, due to a murder, directly connected to one of Nichols' or Bobby's close realatives......
They've got to cross paths, eventually.....!!
My "plan B", would be something involving Eames, or even Willows.
Of course, I'm always hoping for surprises.
Pleasant surprises;
Saghy
Ps.: Remember, you're not posting anything "Personal" for anyone here......!! We're "just speaking, with references to our dear Vicent".
Although that IS actualy true, I'm not in the mood of justifying personal comments, at the moment.....
So folks, if you have any objections, whatsoever, to any comments, remotely pertained to personal subjects, in any imaginable way, please, be kind, to read my pevious replies, on the issue.
Regards;
Saghy

i agree, i cant see my self gazing off into space with him on my mind either.
but all these single lonely people... just makes every one seem so unhappy and unstable.
we never saw deacons family but he mentions a mother in law...
ross is divorced and now dating the M.E.(?)..
carver mentioned going home and kissing his wife once,
jack mc coy divorced and riding a motor cycle,
det. green, unmarried no girlfriend
we got a peak at vanburens boys once or twice
and of course there is goren.. no wife no kids no girlfriend, but a nephew
and eames... widowed, no kids but a nephew
all they have in their lives is murder...we're deep into that now for g & e, and changing it would be weird uless they give them happily ever afters at the end the series ( 20 years from now)
but somebody needs to be happy and normal out side of this grousom line of work.
didnt one of logans partners have a husband and kid? we never saw the family but there was idle mention.
lenny having a daughter (though she was murdered) did appear to make him seem a little less damaged.
i think the mention of family would for him wouldnt be bad.
i mean elliots family came into play on svu and it worked out okay, and he was still considered to be pretty "hunkish" right?
giving zach a family would make him and goren even that much more different.
phillipo (for families)
Deakins was married with two daughters, but yes most detectives in TV dramas whether US or UK are never attached or if they are they are they either get killed off or it hinders them ( they have to be "maverick" or it doesn't work)-I think that Jeffs character will probably be introduced to Major Case like Logan was in Grow in the first episode of the season.
Too bad our Detectives can't have families.........I know a few in REAL life that do. But, it probably would be difficult to write "normal" family stuff along with all the murder and mayhem.
