From Buena Vista Entertainment - Here is a great site to see all the reviews from Siskel & Ebert, Roeper & Ebert, etc. Lots of "thumbs up" for Vincent...
Val, amazingly it DOES work for the subclass of Britain, if you click on Vincent's name, even though I don't understand how anyone could give the wonderful 'Whole Wide World' a thumbs down! OK, he said it should have been longer but, a thumbs down is what he gave it *snarl*
By the way, I meant to say, for anyone thinking they need to rush off and buy that 'documentary' called 'Overnight' for it's Vincent content - DON'T! The tiny clip of him that's shown on the review is ALL there is of him. Seems he just happened to be in a bar that the filmaker was in. Sadly, I bought the darn thing before I learned this :0( Amazon also have it included on Vincent's list of work on their site, even though I've repeatedly asked them to remove it because it cannot, by any stretch of the imagination, be included as part of his career.
I'm on the home page - I don't see Vincent's name or subclass of Britain. And entering his name into the search line doesn't get me anything but current reviews.
Thanks for the red flag; and my condolences, on your rather bitter experience......
I wouldn't be the least surprised, if they don't listen to you -well, at least for a very long time- when someone's as popular as Vincent, everyone wants a piece of them........
When you click the link to the site, you see "Vincent D'Onofrio" come up (in blue). Click his name and the list of films will come up on the left-hand column. - Chrissy
my computer must be having a "duh"moment cause im still not getting his name, but the oatmeal ad is still there.
i click on the word site
at the top of the site ther are two ads one for oatmeal and the other is live with regis and kelly
the main screen says "at the movies" and on the right of that are films being reviewed.
on the bottom there are three catigories. one says in theaters the other says on dvd, and at the far right there is a blue circle that says critics round up and both guys are named ben
???
that's all im getting..i dont see his name any where
Can't really think of many other reasons; except for the "Duh" thing.
I'm not much of a computer expert, but the last time I checked (meaning, right now) the site's having a royal crash....
Maybe that's why the page doesn't load completely.
Guess our favourite guy's too much for them, to handle....!!!
The best I can come up with, is to send you the actual web address; to copy and paste in your web browser. Maybe this time the miracle happenes.....!!!

Quite heart warming...........
Even though WE ALREADY KNEW ALL THIS...............!!
Thanks Judy.
Fascinating & thrilling to watch reputable critics (like Siskel & Ebert) discuss VDO's lesser known films, and say how much they like them.
Nothing but his name in a form, and lots of films he isn't in. Click on Home and you find the subclass known as Britain can't access it.
Dear Judy-
Thank you for this link-great to hear reviews of some of Vincent's films that I was totally unaware of until I became a Vincent fan-
Regi.
Did you click on his name? It brought up all of his films for me.
Thanks for the link Judy! Great find.
hey!! thanks for those i had'nt seen them before. just great!!

What am I missing here?

phillipo
Phillipo;
After clicking the link "site" that Chrissy (our dear blog admnis) has provided; DON'T DO ANYTHING....!!
Just wait for the page to load.
You'll see these categories:
By Moviw title By Actor
Vincent D'Onofrio
By Director
with Vincent D'Onofrio's lovely name, shining under "By Actor".
If I could get it, pretty sure everyone else on the glob, can...!!
PS.: I didn't get that oatmeal Ad.....Whatever shall I do...??
Siskel & Ebert often complemented VDO's performances, and "Happy Accidents" was on Roeper's Top Ten of 2001 list.
saghy2..

But, by of looks of it, guess you could let the page start loading, go to work, get back, and proceed -with the waiting.......
Have a nice time at work......
