My favorite one is Goren alone in the Rectory office. He looks so contemplative. He would have made a great priest, IMO.

Please don't start what was going on, on some sites, just a few days ago.....
I respect your opinion -and totally agree on "the gorgeous locks" with eveyone !!- just give our guy some space, and respect the way "HE WANTS TO LOOK", too.
Maybe he's tired of all the constant diet; maybe he wants to comply with the perception of Bobby Goren -his sadness, anger, and confusion, refleting in his appearance.
Maybe we all love him partly because he's different...??
He is a self-diciplined actor, if he ever needs to be extra-skinny, or over weight for a role, he's proven to be willing to go to the extrems, to do his work in the best way possible.
And -I hate to say this- the fact is, gaining and losing record weights, like Vincent has done, can take its toll on you.
When you deliberatey force your body into a cycle of storing and losing fat, over and over, losing becomes harder and harder everytime, cause your cells'd be on the watch to find the tiniest amount of fat and store it -for ever.
Your metabolism changes drastically, too -and not in a good way.
I'm not saying it'd be impossible, to lose weight again, but it takes an awful lot more than you and I may imagine.
So, Vincent was so dedicated to his job, that he was willing to somewhat sacrifice "skinny Vincent" for it -you've got to give him that.
But even after all this, he IS gorgeous -as beautiful as a guy can be- even in the picture that caused all that bashing, where he was obviously very tired, and looked so serious....
And it's not just physical beauty, it's also his powerful character, showing through...
I'm not trying to pull off a wise guy here folks, just asking you to look at all this, from Vicent's point of view.
You may find there's nothing to bash or criticize.

I'm not one to post multiple times, so I apologize for my second comment. I just wanted say...I don't think Ace was 'trying to start something' with her comment. There are a lot of people who take great pleasure in bashing Vincent, as a person who comments frequently at my blog, Ace isn't one of them.
Thank you for letting me say this...And I think that's enough.
Has anyone noticed that the Copyright NBC thing is always over where Bobby is? They know that all we want to do is crop the rest of the picture out and just leave the part with Bobby in it :D

I have absolutely NO problem with what you said. You're welcome at my site with whatever you have to say as long as people are respectful. An opinion is just that, AN OPINION. Ace isn't crazy about his tummy, who cares? I don't mind it, who cares? I'm here to have fun and share VDO with others (as long as I get to be first and butt into line when I want to! LOL).

Thanks for the photos. Wonderful to see Goren and Eames again. Both are looking great. Love Bobby's hair. Those curls look soooo good on him as does the blue shirt. The dark blue jacket looks new and IMHO has a better fit than some he has worn over the past few seasons. Can't wait for Nov. 7th.

Me 'not liking the tummy' was supposed to meant the same as not liking the beard for example. I wasn't being judgmental....
If I was I would have used different words....not tummy....tummy is a cute word!
And Saughy, I agree with you.
Vincent has very sweet fans, standing up for him like many of you here do!
I agree with Saghy2, there is also the fact that as Goren, Vincent adopts a different posture where as in the promotional pics he is himself standing proud so the "tummy" is sucked in-however people do look heavier on film anyway and Vincent's a "big" guy anyway so he cannot really win on that score, I love the curls though ( they look very reminiscent of the Want "Orson" look).
Happily, thereel have comments moderator, so the appalling abuse Vincent gets elsewhere on sites that are supposed to be 'for' him would never be allowed. Personally, I LOVE his tummy. When it's there, it's part of Vincent D'Onofrio. His weight - or lack of it - no more changes the extraordinary actor OR the wonderful person that he is.
Saghy - have you ever thought of starting your own blog? Your comments are kind of posts in their own right; not that this is meant as a critism of course :0)

To me, it looks like VDO has lost some weight, particularly in the chest and shoulder area. That is the first place that men of Vincent's age lose pounds - after that comes the tummy area.
I think he looks much better in general than he did at the end of season 7
