I wonder what they've "coached" him to say. I hope he can tap dance around the questions......if he's even on....
I remember being a worried when it was announced that Goldblum would join the show. He is a very capable and well-known actor, and his contribution will be an undoubted bonus to CI.
But as I feared his arrival is detracting too much, WAAAAAAAY too much for my liking, from Vincent D'Onofrio.
This is having the effect of turning me AGAINST Goldblum, which is horrid, as I have always liked him well enough in the past.
I find I am getting tired of hearing about him. :-(
Well;
I certainly wish that "VINCENT AND GOLDBLUM" were toghether on these shows -then there'd be two unforgettable interviews to watch...
Of course, can't really be sure whether they'd invited Vincent in the first place, or not......
Vincent had a very interesting inerview with Mr. O'Brien some years ago, and so did Goldblum.
Wish it had occured to Mr. O'Brien to have them both on his show.
Either I should write Connan, and ask him for a double interview, or I might just have to start my own "talk show"...........!!! -Saghy
We all know how Vincent feels about talk shows...but I can't help but feel Jeff is wasting his time, since USA can't even be bothered to give us a date for Season 8!
Jeff Goldblum's visits on Conan are always some of my favorites because they invariably turn into something so very bizarre and surreal.
I agree that Vincent has mentioned that he feels he doesn't do well on talk shows, even though I think he does a great job-
I believe that Jeff has a film coming out also, so maybe that's why he's on the circuit also-
Isn't that why he was at the Toronto Film Festival-

Vincent has always been GREAT in talk shows; even when he and Noth were on "The Today Show" -after a long night of hard work- when he was so tired, he could hardly talk......
It meant something -really, really something- to see him like that, to remind us that his line of work -which so many people envy- is not always "Sunny Florida"; it has ups & downs, like any other.
And to remind us of all his efforts -as well as the rest of the cast & crew- to do their excellent work, the way they do.
The way, which we love, so much.
And yup, Goldbum has a film coming, but can you seriously believe that "Zach Nichols" & season 8 delay'd not come up in his interview...?? -Saghy

I agree that I would have like Vincent to appear in these interviews with Jeff. Usually some kind fan of Vincent put them on You Tube so those of us not in the US can see them.
However, hopefully Jeff may have some news about when the new series is on and may let us know some of the background as to way the series was delayed at such a late stage.
By the way congratulations on Obama winning the presidential election. Yippee
