CI return in Second Quarter 2009?
TV Q&A with Rob Owen, 12.19.08
Q: I check out your TV Q&A every week for updates. I usually watch "Law & Order "in all its varieties, and I was concerned about Jay Leno's show bumping the original "L&O." It has one more season to go to equal or supplant "Gunsmoke" as the longest running series ever. I hope NBC would consider that, though I know ratings are the main thing. To me the quality of the shows have all increased this year.
Anyway, two questions: do you know the premiere dates for "L&O: CI" and "Battlestar Galactica"? Thanks!
A: "Battlestar" returns Jan. 16. "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" doesn't yet have a season premiere date, but I'm hearing it will likely be back during the second quarter of 2009.

Aaaarrrggghhhh!
...and I'm 'hearing' nothing at all until USA announce it 'officially'. Last we all heard, Jeff Goldblum said 'March', USA said 'probably March' - and Vincent said he thought January....

They'd better get their heads sorted out sooner rather than later - I just read on LiveJournal that Julianne Nicholson is pregnant again!
I guess USA is going to do
whatever they think is best
for their ratings.
If they REALLY cared about
L&O CI fans, they would
send Vincent over to my
place so that I could set
on his lap and tell him
what I want for Christmas ;)
Why does Vincent think the show may be starting in January? Don't they tell the cast anything?
As Diane said, this tells us that no one has made a definitive decision about the start date. Let's hope it is January!
