Heldenfels' mailbag: McLeod has a Web site

"...Q: Law & Order: Criminal Intent was advertised as returning on Nov. 7 on USA Network. But it never appeared. I don't even see it advertised anywhere. Is it coming back?
A: Eventually. It was first set for last fall, then delayed until early 2009, when USA planned to run 16 new episodes without reruns interrupting.
But it has been delayed again, with a USA rep saying new episodes are linked in April or May, when it can be promoted along with several other USA shows offering new telecasts. Fox News recently blamed the delay on problems with new episodes starring Jeff Goldblum, who joined the show after Chris Noth departed. The network insisted ''production is going very well'' and did not affect the rescheduling..."

Yeah whatever, maybe they should made up their minds already! We just have to wait and see....
Yeah, yeah, we've read and heard it all before. The day I SEE the new episode is he day I'll believe them.

Great day and time. I'm so, so happy.
I am sooooo happy-maybe. See, I can act just like the bigs at USA, LOL! Seriously, my birthday is March 10 (not really spring I guess), but I can dream. I am planning that big HDTV purchase, but not until I get a real set-in-stone date (if there is such a thing). In the meantime, I downloaded some of my faves from Amazon.com, because the DVD's releases seem as lost as this season 8.
'Spring 2009' is STILL not an actual DATE, this news is on the same site that only a couple of weeks ago was telling us 'Summer 2009' and the LOCI board over at USA STILL only says '2009'. I'm beginning to think that USA couldn't organise an orgy in a brothel, and I hope they're not too surprised that most of us won't believe it until we see it!
I think this may be an old announcement that they forgot to pull. It still list Nathan as a producer and he left month ago.
Hope I am wrong though.
