I clicked on the amazon.uk site, and the cost, etc. is in pounds. Did I miss something? Will that format play on U.S. computers? I hate to reveal how ignorant I am about technology.
Lucky people!! What about Region 1???? sniff....
And about bloody time too! Whoo Hooo....
The DVD is in PAL format for play in Region 2. US is Region 1.
Some options including a region-free player, from Askville.
If the exchange rate weren't so awful for the US dollar, I'd be getting these myself because I don't hold much hope for US releases. I'd get both seasons 3 and 4 because 3 is listed as widescreen in the UK version.
I got myself a multi-region, multi-format player years ago, because this isn't the only fandom where US fans get screwed over.
That is great, only wish it was for the U.S., too. Why is it not for release here? I hope that soon after it will be released here too.

It happens the other way around, too. Many movies don't get released in Europe or will get released without extras... to be more specific that happened to "The Whole Wide World" and "Happy Accidents"... what a joke!

There is computer software that will let you watch non-Region 1 DVDs, for example "SlySoft AnyDVD".
When do we Yanks get it? 2nd best season IMO.
According to Amazon.com (U.S.) Season 4 is available for pre-order for $41.99. The site does not list a release date, but it is taking pre-orders.
